The Steeles should be gospel legends. Their album, Heaven Help Us All, did a great job of showcasing the group's talents, both vocal and instrument. Prince liked the act so much that he used them as backing vocalists several times on his work. They are prominently featured on his album and the live show which was filmed and released officially as The Sacrifice Of Victor.
Still, Prince's contribution "Well Done" is not so suited for their simple gospel oriented sound. The track has more of a dance beat, while the rest of the album's material is more earthy. It is an average Prince track that may have fit another artist's sound better. Electra Musician, The Steele's record label, may agree with this notion as "Well Done" is not included in later pressings of Heaven Help Us All
