Unfortunately, Prince and Madonna's collaboration on "Love Song" was mediocre. The song, which sounds like a Lovesexy outtake although it was recorded later, did little to showcase either mega-star's talents. Further troubling the song is that it is undoubtedly a Prince track and sounds out of place on Madonna's album. Perhaps in a different context the track would not seem to ramble on ineffectively. "Act Of Contrition" is not really a song. However, it has been reported that Prince was present for the recording of it and contributed significantly.
It has been rumored that Prince contributed guitar work to "Keep It Together," although that has never been substantiated. In addition, some have claimed that he aided in writing the "Like A Prayer" remixes. This report has never been verified either.
