Kid Creole And The Coconuts - Private Waters In The Great Divide

"The Sex Of It" may be the worst take any artist has done on a Prince track. The song is pretty funky and sounds as though it was written for Morris Day. The horn section works well in the track. However, Kid Creole's lackluster performance drags the song down somewhat. The track, recorded right after the Sign O' The Times tour, was one of the first completed at Prince's then-new Paisley Park studio.
