The Girl 6 album served as the soundtrack to Spike Lee's film of the same name. The release consisted of catalog Prince songs, new tracks and a few previously released songs penned for protege acts in the 1980's. Among this latter group were the previously released "The Screams Of Passion," performed by The Family; "Nasty Girl," performed by Vanity 6 and "Count The Days" performed by the NPG. The album and movie did poorly and the release was quickly deleted.
