Dale Bozzio was already a pop star when she embarked on her first solo outing. Prince contributed "So Strong" to her Riot In English album. The track is a robotic sounding effort, that would not have been out of place on Jill Jones' self-titled effort. The track is based around a keyboard line that is augmented by a somewhat funky guitar lick in the choruses. Prince's background vocals are prominent in the chorus. The track is quality, but does not mix well with the rest of the material on Dale's solo debut, though.
