Parade
If Around The World In A Day separated the hit Prince listener from those who were genuinely interested, Parade isolated them further. Although the album, which doubled as the soundtrack to his movie Under The Cherry Moon, contained the mega-hit "Kiss," there is not much other hit material. The album is, still, a classic Prince recording with lots of favorites among his loyal listeners: "Sometimes It Snows In April," "Anotherloverholenyohead" and "Girls And Boys." The album features a significant amount of orchestration, which would play a large part in Prince's later work.
