Batman Soundtrack
|
The soundtrack to Batman benefited a great deal from the success of the movie. The semi-title track "Batdance" was a large hit and it helped the album significantly.
Musically, the electronic sounding album was interesting. Prince was experimenting significantly with drum machine programming and the use of orchestration during pop songs. The sound of the songs flowed together well, with little filler, making it an enjoyable effort.
