The "4th Annual VH1 Honors" will return to the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles Thursday, April 10 to pay tribute to music education in an announcement by VH1 president John Sykes.

Artists scheduled to perform at the annual concert benefit will include Sheryl Crow, a special performance by Celine Dion, The Artist and The Wallflowers. Celine will be joined on stage by a children's choral group from the Memphis area, highlighting the show's tribute to music education. The Artist returns for his second appearance on "VH1 Honors" in the show's four year history to celebrate his first release on NPG Records, "Emancipation." The Artist was also honored at the 1997 NAACP Awards with the "Lifetime Achievement Award."

Sykes said "Having a group of superstars like this get together on stage to support music education will send a strong message to millions of Americans."

Last year "VH1 Honors" paid tribute to the global human rights program Witness, which strengthens and supports global human rights movements by providing local human rights groups with the tools of mass communication. Performers last year included Bryan Adams, Peter Gabriel, Don Henley, Joan Osborne, Natalie Merchant, Rod Stewart, Michael Stipe and host Tim Robbins.

The "4th Annual VH1 Honors" host, additional performers and presenters will be announced shortly.
