Title: "Prince Buys Land In Minneapolis For A New School"
Written By: Staff
Principal Prince? The formerly interview-shy artist known as Prince said at a news conference Tuesday in New York City that he's bought land in his hometown of Minneapolis to build a school. Because of his own bad experiences in school, the musician said, he wants to play a role in providing a better education for youngsters. Money for the project comes from his Love 4 One Another charity, spokeswoman Frances Pennington said. The school is a few years away from being built and it's not yet clear who will be invited to attend, she said.
