The Artist Formerly Known As Prince may be emancipated from his past, but he
hasn't forgotten it. While in New York City for a performance earlier this
month, the singer just happened to see Kirsten Scott Thomas on the Jan. 9 Live
With Regis & Kathie Lee. So he called her up to see if they could get together.
The connection? While Thomas has had a burgeoning career thanks to Four
Weddings and a Funeral and the lauded romance The English Patient, it was TAFKAP
who gave the Brit actress her proverbial big break by casting her in 1986's
Under the Cherry Moon. "They had tea together," a spokesman for Scott Thomas
says of the duos reunion. "There's obviously a nice bond between them." Later
that evening the two attended the premiere of Woody Allen's Everyone Says I Love
You but parted ways following the film. Scott Thomas held court at Allen's bash
while Prince went on to catch David Bowie in concert.
