Prince has approached five high-powered Los Angeles entertainment lawyers to negotiate his way out of his recording contract with Warner Bros. but each of them has turned him down, according to a source at the Los Angeles Times.

The status of Prince's "Gold Experience" is still in limbo. Apparently he was going to give the master tapes of the album to Warner Bros. if it released his "Purple Medley" single, which the label did. But no date has been set for the release of "The Gold Experience."
