Title: "Scrubbing The House"
Written By: Neal Justin & Kristin Tillotson
As the Artist Formerly Known As Prince prepares to perform at the Glam
Slam nightclub in Los Angeles this weekend, his former manager, Gilbert
Davison, is making plans to remove all signs of the pop star's existence
at the hometown nightspot. Davison plans to shut down the ground floor of
the Minneapolis Glam Slam next month for a remodeling job that will, among
other things, wipe out every glyph in sight, sources close to the club
say. In July he'll give the second level the same star-sweep treatment.
As for the Glam Slam name - taken from the fictitious club in Prince's
1990 film "Graffiti Bridge" - Davison has a couple of new monikers in
mind, but is keeping his lip buttoned as tight as Prince's pants.
