Title: "Prince Among Men"
Written By:
The Artist Formerly Known As Prince will finally
release his long awaited _The Gold Experience_ Sept. 12 on Warner Bros. It
includes 'The Most Beautiful Girl In The World,' a hit single previously
released on NPG records, plus new tunes like 'Shhh,' 'Shy,' 'Billy Jack
Bitch,' 'Dolphin,' 'Endorphinmachine,' and 'Now.' The first single, 'I
Hate You,' is due Aug. 1. The album was recorded at his Paisley Park
studio, where Symbol Man has unveiled some of the new tunes. A World tour
is under discussion. "
It's great to see such a positive article in a large mainstream paper...
Also, fantastic news about "I Hate You" being the first single. Damn fine
choice. I was discussing the AMA performance with a friend who is a
moderate fan, and he raved about that song, after only hearing 30 seconds
of it. If other people react the way he did (and I think they will), this
song has the potential to be a big hit. In fact, I really think this whole
album will do very well. "Endorphinmachine" might finally win over rock
radio.... A world tour starting in October or November would be great. I'm
dying to see him in concert again. It's been too long for the US
fans....
