Kind of interresting that the mainstream press in the U.S. has picked up on this. I do not if the rumor is true or not, but if that is what makes happy, I'm glad. The man has brought us so much happiness through his music, that I can't help but feel that some of his "fans" are being petty when they dis Mayte. If she inspires , that is all that matters. You can debate the merits of her singing voice or her dancing, (I happen to think that she is a fine singer, and a wonder- ful dancer.) but those things have nothing to do with whether or not should be with her. If that is what he wants, I say congratulations.

In case any of you haven't heard, Mayte will be playing at the Glam Slam Miami this Friday and Saturday. She also did a radio interview with some Miami station (WPOW 96) today in which she said that her album would be out in the U.S. in February.
