Having recorded nine platinum albums, he recently signed a new contract with Warner Bros., reportedly worth up to $100 million. 's influence prompted Warner Bros. to allow him to release "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" on an independent label while still under contract with them. His new label, NPG Records--distributed by Bellmark Records--will likely be key in his plan to release new material, while Warner Bros. releases their choice of his over 500 finished tunes.
