PURPLE NEWS: With plans to stage his first major U.S. tour in four years in August to coincide with the release of his upcoming album "Diamonds & Pearls," Prince recently took a break from tour rehearsals to shoot three videos for the disc. The album will feature Prince's new eight-piece band, the New Power Generation. Before its arrival, new Prince tunes can be heard on new and upcoming releases from Paula Abdul, Martika, Miles Davis, Louie Louie, Patti LaBelle, Ingrid Chavez, T. C. Ellis, and saxman Eric Leeds.
