"Prince Abdicates Indefinitely"

Steve Fargnoli, Prince's manager, has announced that His Purple Badness retired from live performance for "an indefinite period of time" after his April show in Miami. Fargnoli reported he asked his client what he planned to do with his time, and the diminutive superstar replied: "I'm going to look for the ladder." No translation was forthcoming.
